As a City HR Member, the Networks and Special Interest groups provide tremendous opportunity to learn from others, gain deeper insights on topics, network with peers and experts, share experience and best practices, raise your own profile and develop your career and much more!
Our Network groups come together 3 time a year for roundtable discussion and cover topics top of mind for those within a particular sector. They will also showcase topics at 2 of the virtual all member HR Community Chats. Members are joined by thought leaders in areas of interest and use the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and issues faced by peer organisations. They share best practise, connect in person and collaborate. HR practitioners, regardless of whether they are a specialist or generalist, are encouraged to join one of the following Networks:-
If you are a City HR member, email info@cityhr.co.uk to register for any of the above networks.
The following Special Interest Groups (SIG) are led by industry and sector experts in a particular field via member co-chairs. The Groups meet 3 times a year in a more informal setting, often in person, and enable discussion and the drawing together of insights and best practise. They will also showcase topics at 2 of the virtual all member HR Community Chats.
The Special Interest Groups allow for a deep dive on a specific topic and bring a level of technical expertise relevant for more specialist type HR roles. All HR colleagues are encouraged to attend the sessions, depending on their interest, but those involved in more specialist Employee Relations type roles, for example, will find the Legal and Regulatory SIG of particular interest. For those holding more senior Leadership and Strategic roles, the Digital and AI, Talent and OD and ESG SIG’s will be of interest, with the Reward and Compensation SIG enabling a broader understanding of this important field. People Analytics is being revisited this year in the context of culture change and upskilling the HR function so will be relevant for all. The EDI and Women in leadership SIG will be especially relevant for D&I specialists, and of interest to all generalist HR functions as this field continues to play a key role on all strategic HR agendas.
If you are a City HR member, email info@cityhr.co.uk to register for any of the above Special Interest Groups.
