Your Membership

Member organisations pay a nominal subscription which covers all of their employees within the HR function. This covers the operating costs of the Association and enables City HR to deliver a range of services which are either free (i.e. contained with the subscription) or heavily subsidised.

Why Organisations Join

  • To knowledge-share, exchange approaches and to leverage best practice on HR issues.

  • To achieve economies of scale – for example, City HR develops policies, procedures and guidance manuals on relevant issues affecting a large number of employers and these are available to all members on a free basis

  • To participate in HR benchmarking amongst peers in a safe environment.

  • To join a specialist network group. The member base is so large that as well as sharing information and ideas with the wider group, members also meet in distinct smaller networking groups to discuss issues relevant to their sector.

  • To obtain high quality HR training, education and consultancy services at a discounted rate

  • To prevent HR from “operating in a silo” in the larger organisations
